I am an American businessman and property owner in the Krasnodar/Black Sea Region of Russia.

I have had a lifelong interest in Russian history and culture.  Having traveled to Russia many times as a tourist,  I found myself drawn to the dynamic changes taking place in Russia.   I began to study the language and to learn as much as I could about the cultural and the business climate.  About 2004, I saw that the Krasnodar/Black Sea Region had very productive agriculture, shipping, oil and gas, a mild climate and attractive beach resorts. I was attracted to the potential and opportunity, so I bought property.

I have traveled extensively in southern Russia. I live in Sochi, the most popular beach resort and the site of the 2014 Winter Olympiad, Paralympics and Formula 1 Racing.  Sochi is a dynamic city and is growing and changing quickly into Russia's 'sports capital".
